We have been working on kitchen shelf for last 2 months coz I wanna get the work desk I like, I have been looking at them for couple of months now and have tried almost all queries possible. These are some office desks I liked, they are mostly from the companies I like and appreciate. I dont like cubicles, I like long desks where everything looks messy (thoughtworks is the closest to the messy I imagine) but part of me also admires clean places. One of these days when my research is complete (I hope it does) I am gonna get it cloned at a local furniture store. Till then I will keep adding more. Lemme know which one you liked.

QED42 is open for business, we use drupal to build next-gen social applications for niche ideas. I previously tried to express my thoughts on why QED42 and also noted ways to approach the objective of building directly for users. I believe there are so many passionate individuals and organizations with ideas trying to add value to the ecosystem, QED42 is aiming to help see those ideas to execution. I've had quite a ride when it comes to "career", in last 16 months after graduation I have indulged myself in many different kind of workplaces. I often reconnect with people after few months to tell them I am not doing what I was doing when we last spoke, its quite tiring to explain them but I guess they will keep up with me. I've been part of couple of start ups and a corporate in the gone time, Its been exciting from the professional point of view but has been an eye opener about my own self. With reason and internet as my tools I found out that I was in ever exploring mode, I soon realized that the workplaces are means to an end, with the knowledge that with my nature I might not even recognize the end.

My last job was at a corporate where I was leading a team of 4-5 developers for a intel project, it involved architectural work with managerial skills, I happily accepted the job as it was the next logical thing after working in seclude on a great product at sysomos. I wanted to work with people, I wanted to understand them and more so I wanted to test this theory that team can work and progress powered with individual capability. My results of the experiment were satisfactory though I never got them validated from my team (I really should) I think their image of me is more like a cuckoo boy. After 10 months of fun and self exploration I got fed up and decided to quit the very well paying job, it has served its purpose to give me that experience of working with people. Often I asked myself whats next? I have considered opening a coffee shop with large displays playing youtube videos and running real time twitter alerts, I have dreamt of teaching as a profession to which many who know me advice against. It was too much experience in little time but I knew I had to move on. Then there was this internet boy dream of becoming next google in the background, again for the process and not the end. I also realized its not the type of work I am running from but from the settings and constraints of it.

So with some references in hand and quest to explore more about internet I decided to bring the background process to surface, all my thoughts about what I wanna build and more importantly how came flashing and staring up felt like the next logical step. QED42 is the name of the journey I am on right now and I have my "plans" to do it right with fun and learning as the parameters, I am not aiming to be next google, I am just aiming to run this long before I pause to ask whats next?

Reality note: QED42 is not working on any product or prototype as yet but things are in pipeline, after many discussions and reality check I have decided we will do some niche consultancy to raise money and to find right set of people. We are currently filtering 3-4 product ideas and have kept personal deadline of 6 months, when we concentrate ourselves on internet products.
